Vladimir was born in the city of Pskov, where he also graduated from a music college. After moving to St. Petersburg, Vladimir played in the Ensemble of D. Goloshchekin and with the Doo Bop Sound band. Between 1998 and 2000, he lived and worked in New York City, and played with B. Taylor, B. Harris, and F. Wess. Vladimir moved to Moscow in 2006, where he quickly became one of the most sought after bassists. He is a regular participant of V. Danilin’s, V. Guseinov’s, V Kisilev’s, and Y. Okun’s ensembles.

Vladimir is a musician with a uniquely subtle sense of style and who is a wonderful ensemblist.
