Anna was born in 1984 in the city of Aktau (formerly Shevchenko, Kazakhstan). She has been studying music since the age of 8. As a child, Anna was a member of the children’s singing band “Tenerif,” which won several pop music awards throughout the former Soviet Union and abroad. After relocating to Moscow, she decided to leave the pop music scene and devoted herself to jazz. Anna admits that her interest in jazz, especially in the exotic bossa nova, performed in Portuguese, goes back to her childhood, so years later Brazilian music was a natural choice.

Anna is a student of Galina Filatova, one of the most famous jazz singers in Russia. She graduated from the Music Institute of Contemporary Art. In addition, Anna studies Portuguese.
